I got my first train set when I was just 8 years old, but it might have been the ride I had on a CN caboose in the summer of 1965 that planted a seed for my future fascination of trains. My uncle Jim was the conductor for CN. He took us on a short 8 mile ride in that summer that we visited family in the Gaspe Quebec.

I’ve been married for 30 years this year. I have 3 children, none of which is a model railroader but are very creative in their own way, and I’m a real estate agent. In my spare time I enjoy woodworking, and model railroading as my in house hobbies, but I thorouhly enjoy home repair and renovation and casual cycling in this beautiful city of Ottawa I have called home since first moving here in 1989.
